All these types of taxes are regulated by the state.
Value added tax:
After the formation of modern taxation, VAT in Georgia has not undergone any special changes and the percentage of fees has been and remains at the level of 18% for more than 13 years. It must be remembered that, like everywhere else, there are goods and services that are not subject to this tax, for example: printing and printed products, pharmaceutical, veterinary, etc.
Corporate income tax:
The company's taxable profit is taxed at the rate of 15%. In accordance with the amendments to the Tax Code of Georgia, if the founders reinvest profits, they are exempt from this tax.
Tax on dividends:
It is 5% and is calculated according to the Estonian accrual model. His company pays (SHPS, LLC, JSC). The payment is charged simultaneously with income tax, that is, when the profit is withdrawn, 15% of the amount withdrawn is paid first, and the dividend from the interest paid is 5%. The tax on dividends is subject to a monthly declaration.
Income tax:
Income tax in Georgia is 20% on the accrued amount. The tax is the same for citizens of other countries receiving salaries from a Georgian company, as well as for citizens of Georgia.
Withholding tax:
Income received by a non-resident from a source that does not relate to a permanent establishment is subject to taxation.

- royalty – 5%;
- for services of international communication, telecommunications and international transport – 10%;

It is also an excellent bonus that Georgia has concluded a number of agreements on the avoidance of double taxation with more than 50 countries.

Education

Education in Georgia is managed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Georgia.
Education here has three levels: secondary, specialized secondary and higher.
Secondary education:
It starts at the age of six and has three stages: primary school (lasts 6 years), primary school (lasts 3 years), secondary school (lasts 3 years). After graduating from primary school, students receive a certificate of basic education, and if they finish twelve grades, they already have the right to receive a certificate of full secondary education. The country has adopted a ten-point rating system.
There are compulsory subjects, these include: chemistry, physics, biology, geography, history, Georgian language and literature, one of the foreign languages and mathematics.
Secondary special education:
After the 9th grade of school, a student can enter the first level of secondary vocational education. After three steps to the diploma of secondary vocational education, a certificate of full secondary education of a professional / technical secondary school or a specialized secondary school is issued. This entitles the student to take part in the Unified National Exam (ENE) and enroll in a higher educational institution.
Higher education:
Higher education in Georgia is paid. For admission to the university, passing the Unified National Exam is required. This is an exam in 4 subjects: logical skills, Georgian language and literature, a foreign language and an exam to choose from.
There are 4 stages of higher education:
Certified specialist (Bachelor of the first stage)
Bachelor's degree
Master
Doctoral student
Higher education can be obtained in such institutions as: university, master's degree and college. A student has the right to transfer from one higher educational institution to another for a fee. Since Georgia is a participant in the Bologna process, school certificates are valid in any country in the world with a similar system.

Healthcare

There are now 259 hospitals and more than 2,000 outpatient clinics and polyclinics in Georgia. Medicine in Georgia is mostly paid, but there are government programs covering the costs of medical care.
The Georgian healthcare system provides for the provision of paid medical services to all segments of the population.
In February 2013, the "Universal Health Care" program was launched in order to ensure access to medical care for the least protected segments of the population. The program includes minimum, basic and additional packages of medical services. Citizens of Georgia, foreigners with a residence permit, refugees, stateless persons registered in Georgia can participate in the program.
Pensioners, schoolchildren, the disabled and low-income families can count on assistance from the state, that is, part of the cost of medical services will be refunded.
Unprotected categories of the population (with the help of state funding) and children under 5 years old can apply for free medicine.
If a person has a voluntary health insurance policy, then he does not have the right to receive medical care at the expense of the state.
There are 3 levels in the structure of medical care in Georgia:
- primary health care
- medical services of the second level
- medical services of the third level
Emergency and emergency medical care is a separate type of medical care.
Primary health care:
Primary health care includes the services of paramedic stations, offices of family doctors or therapists. Examples of services provided: doctor's consultation; minor surgical operations; plaster cast for simple fractures; diagnostic tests: ECG, pressure measurement, audiogram, blood and urine tests, vaccination of the population, etc.
Second-level medical services:
Second-level medical services are provided in polyclinics and multidisciplinary medical institutions. Examples of services provided: therapeutic medical services: day hospital; round-the-clock hospital; departments of general surgery, urology, intensive care, plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, etc.
Psychiatric hospitals also belong to the second-level medical institutions.
Third-level medical services:
Medical services of the third level are specialized narrow–profile medical institutions (centers of neurosurgery, transplantology, burn centers, departments of obstetrics of the third level), where complex types of high-precision diagnostics are carried out, medical care is provided in case of severe, complex surgical operations are performed.
In Georgia, the prices for medicine are quite low, so now medical tourism is flourishing there.

Climate

Georgia is located on the eastern coast of the Black Sea. The climate of the country is quite mild. The western part of the country has a milder and humid subtropical climate, so the summer is warm here, and the average temperature in July is +23C. Winter is also not cold (the average temperature in January is 5C). There is a lot of precipitation in the west, usually most of it falls in spring.
In the eastern parts of the country, the climate ranges from subtropical to temperate and arid. Here the average temperature in summer is from +20 to 24 ° C, and in winter from +2 to 4 ° C. Rain in eastern Georgia is rare and unpredictable. Heavy rains usually fall in the middle and late spring. The rest of the year rains become rare (there are showers at most, but they last no more than an hour) and most of the time the weather is good with sunny days.
The weather in the Caucasus Mountains is changing rapidly. Sudden cold spells are accompanied by heavy snowfalls, heavy rains, hail. But already on the mountain slopes of Georgia, the temperature in July is only + 4C. High in the mountains, temperatures in January can reach -16C. Similar conditions are typical for the mountainous regions of both eastern and western Georgia. Strong winds often blow in the canyons and valleys of the central, southern and eastern regions of Georgia.
The warm climate of Georgia provides unlimited opportunities for summer holidays throughout the year. There is snow in the mountains at the same time, and warm sea temperatures reign on the coast, so tourists have a unique opportunity to combine both beach holidays and winter tourism at the same time. Thanks to the wonderful climate of the country, tourists come here all year round for a good rest.
